We are searching for anEnergy Policy & Investment Analyst Vice President to join a global advisory consultancy in the U.S. that advises blue chip companies and the most influential investors to navigate the global regulatory landscape to uncover opportunities and help their clients avoid risks.
The candidate will join the rapidly growing Energy team with 30% growth last year and who are on track to exceed this in 2024. The team is their largest and fastest-growing team, so it's a great opportunity to join and grow with the business.
We're seeking a Energy Policy & Investment Analyst Vice President who engages regularly with politicians, regulators, and other policymakers, as well as investors within the U.S. energy sector. The perfect fit will possess outstanding analytical abilities, creativity, and a proven passion for both policy and financial markets. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned professional, experienced in equity research, policy analysis/development, consulting, investment banking, or a relevant field.
Key Requirements:
• Four-year Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• Experiencedin consulting, banking, policy analysis, investment analysis or a related field
• High academic achievement or equivalent
• Strong MS Excel skills
• Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship
Key Responsibilities:
• Responsible for developing unique investment ideas based on rigorous policy analysis.
• You will interact regularly with politicians, regulators and other policymakers, as well as investors across the U.S energy sector.
• Develop and discern high-quality, value-oriented investment ideas
• Express differentiated opinions clearly and forcefully, supported by robust analysis
