Responsibilities
• Perform professional planning, management, research, monitoring, and outreach duties associated with wildlife and natural resource management.

• Provide technical assistance with public policy, ordinances, city and park master plans, sustainable development planning, watershed protection planning, and wildlife habitat management for municipalities.
,
• Engage in conflict resolution and community engagement to support natural resource management and wildlife populations.
,
• Develop tools to help residents resolve conflicts with wildlife and promote desired wildlife habitat and conservation.
,
• Provide technical guidance to local governments, private landowners, and conservation organizations regarding wildlife and natural resource management.
,
• Create wildlife and habitat management plans for public and private properties.
,
• Conduct outreach and public relations activities to promote wildlife and habitat initiatives through various media.
,
• Seek grant opportunities and develop partnerships to support wildlife management initiatives.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in biological sciences with at least twelve semester hours in wildlife biology or a master's degree in wildlife management.
,
• Minimum of six months experience in wildlife biology or a combination of education and experience.
,
• CPR and First Aid Certification.
,
• Driver's License.

• S-130/S-190 Firefighter Training Qualification

• S-212 Chainsaw Safety Training Qualification

• Experience in conflict management and communication skills.
