Urban Planning & Smart City Development Trainer – Part-Time (WFH)

SkillDzire is seeking a part-time Urban Planning & Smart City Development Trainer to conduct online training sessions for internship programs. The role involves explaining urban planning concepts, covering smart city technologies, and guiding students through projects. Candidates should have a degree in a related field, over 5 years of experience, and strong communication skills. Teaching experience is preferred, and familiarity with GIS and AutoCAD is beneficial.
About the Role
We are looking for a passionate and experienced
Urban Planning & Smart City Development Trainer to deliver engaging online sessions for our internship-based programs. The trainer will be responsible for simplifying concepts, sharing practical insights, and guiding students with real-world case studies.


Responsibilities
Deliver live online training sessions (1 hour per day)Explain urban planning concepts with real-world examplesCover smart city technologies (IoT, sustainability, digital governance)Guide students on projects, case studies, and assignmentsSupport students in understanding industry practicesEnsure interactive and engaging sessions
Eligibility Criteria
Bachelor’s / Master’s in Urban Planning / Civil Engineering / Architecture / related fieldMinimum 5
+ years of relevant experience in urban planning or smart city projects
Prior teaching / training experience is preferredStrong communication and presentation skills
Required Skills
Knowledge of
Urban Planning principles & city development
Familiarity with Smart City concepts (IoT, sustainability, infrastructure)Experience with tools like GIS (ArcGIS/QGIS), AutoCAD
