Urban Climate Resilience Manager

Job Summary
A highly motivated and experienced Urban Climate Resilience Manager is sought to join our team at the City of Davis, CA. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating comprehensive sustainability programs and projects that promote climate action and resilience in our community.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement climate action plans, policies, and procedures that align with our city's goals and objectives
• Collaborate with various stakeholders, including city departments, external agencies, and community organizations, to coordinate and facilitate climate-related initiatives
• Conduct research and analysis on climate change impacts, identify opportunities for improvement, and develop strategies to mitigate them
• Provide technical guidance and support to staff, elected officials, and the public on climate-related matters

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in environmental studies, public administration, or a related field, and a minimum of 4 years of experience in sustainability program management
• Proven track record of developing and implementing successful climate action plans and projects
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines
