UK | Event Executive

BYD Europe is seeking an Event Executive in Uxbridge, UK, to support the UK Events Specialist in planning and executing fleet events. Responsibilities include managing event logistics, collaborating with marketing teams, ensuring adherence to brand standards, and tracking event performance. The role aims to enhance brand exposure and increase fleet sales through effective event management and strategic planning.
Overview:

The Event Executive provides crucial support to the UK Events Specialist in all elements of event strategy, planning and deployment. Primarily the role will focus on BYD Fleet events and as such will be responsible for the successful delivery of a broad programme of fleet events.

Tasks & Typical duties/responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Support the UK Events Specialist in the delivery of national level brand events and product launches.
• Working with the UK Marketing/Events team and the UK Fleet team to develop an annual events schedule identifying key events that BYD Fleet should participate in to maximise brand exposure and deliver test drives and sales
• Work with an appointed events agency to brief, design, plan and deliver Fleet events including stand design, cars, event materials, uniform and merchandise.
• Ensure all events are delivered to the highest possible quality and adhere to BYD brand standards
• Support National Fleet Sales Managers with brand presentations at key Fleet Customer premises – e.g. test drive sessions / brand presentations at FN50 clients.
• Where relevant, for key Fleet events work with the digital team to design and deliver a content plan aligned to the B2B audience.
• Work with members of the marketing team to ensure that BYD B2B events are promoted and marketed to ensure maximum attendance and exposure
• Ensure specific customer journey defined and implemented for each event
• Help manage Brand Ambassador performance at B2B events.

Performance
• Support budget control for each event and work with the UK team to ensure timely payment to suppliers
• Develop and agree KPIs ahead of each event and measure performance versus these:
• Monitor of visitors to B2B events and report on ROIBooth visitors (software to be investigated) including leads collected and test drives
• Prepare post-event report to review event success and determine viability for future attendance

• Brand Awareness leading to increase in Fleet sales
• Funnel metrics specific to events: Booth visitors / Leads / Test Drives / Sales

• Fleet team feedback
