Job Type: Contract Work period: Full-Time Duration: 21-07-2025 TO 21-07-2026 Location: El Dorado, Kansas, United States Visa Sponsorship: Not Available Elevate Your Career in Turnaround Engineer We are seeking a skilled Turnaround Engineer with a robust mechanical background to support critical turnaround projects at a major industrial site in the refining and petrochemical sector. Role Overview Review technical specifications and engineering documentation for fixed equipment (e.g., exchangers, gaskets, piping systems). Develop and validate turnaround scope packages to ensure accuracy and completeness. Collaborate with planners, contractors, and engineers to verify material specs, drawings, and procedures. Identify discrepancies and ensure engineering changes are reflected in field documentation. Support fabrication readiness by confirming documentation aligns with the current field conditions. Partner with operations, maintenance, and turnaround teams to align scope and priorities. Promote process improvements and best practices for documentation and turnaround planning. Participate in field walkdowns and verification activities as needed. Skills & Qualifications Fixed Equipment Expertise: In-depth knowledge of fixed equipment and turnaround planning processes. Mechanical Engineering Skills: Strong mechanical engineering background. Technical Documentation Proficiency: Ability to identify and correct technical documentation issues. Coordination Skills: Excellent coordination and communication skills across multi-disciplinary teams. Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field preferred.
