Travel Plan Coordinator

Location: Colchester (Hybrid)

My client is a dynamic consultancy embedded within a wider transport and engineering business. You will benefit from exposure to varied, high-profile projects while working alongside experienced professionals in a collaborative and supportive setting that values innovation and progression.

What you will be doing as a Travel Plan Coordinator

In this Travel Plan Coordinator role, you will take ownership of delivering engaging and effective Travel Plans. Your day-to-day will include:

·Meeting clients to discuss Travel Plan strategies, progress, and outcomes

·Analysing survey data and producing detailed, high-quality reports

·Designing and delivering marketing campaigns that promote sustainable travel behaviours

·Conducting site visits to assess infrastructure and identify improvements

·Managing project timelines and budgets to ensure successful delivery

·Supporting and mentoring team members to aid their development

You will play a key role in shaping behaviour change initiatives, encouraging walking, cycling, public transport use, and low-emission travel options.

What you will bring to the Travel Plan Coordinator role

To succeed as a Travel Plan Coordinator, you will demonstrate:

·Knowledge in a relevant field such as transport, planning, geography, environmental studies, or marketing (or equivalent experience)

·Experience in travel planning, sustainable transport, or a related role with project management exposure

·Strong written communication skills, with the ability to produce clear, engaging, and accurate reports

·Confidence in data analysis, including survey design and presenting findings effectively

·A genuine passion for sustainable travel, behaviour change, and community engagement

·A full UK driving licence

Desirable (but not essential):

·Experience with WordPress, Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator), and TRICS

·Salary of £32,000-£45,000, dependent on experience
