By joining our Warren County Equipment 6 as a Transportation Auto/Truck Technician I in Warren County, you’ll have the opportunity to Maintain District wide equipment, including trackhoes, dump trucks, loaders, etc.
Summary Of Responsibilities
• Change oil and hydraulics fluids.
• Learn to search out electrical problems.
• Maintain equipment during snow and ice operations.
• Learn Computer monitoring of equipment.

Must possess a valid driver's license, some travel will be required for training. Must be able to work, sit, stoop, and bend. Must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds, must be able to respond to emergencies.

Minimum Requirements
EDUCATION: High school graduate.
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, OR SKILLS: Must have two years of automotive/equipment/truck repair technical experience.
Substitute EDUCATION for EXPERIENCE: Vocational or technical school training in automotive/truck repair or a related area will substitute for the required experience on a year-for-year basis.
Substitute EXPERIENCE for EDUCATION: NONE
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (AGE, LICENSURE, REGULATION, ETC.): Must be 18 years of age. Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license to qualify for employment in this job classification. Employees in this job classification must furnish the agency's appointing authority within six months of employment in the job classification, documentation that he or she possesses a valid Class A commercial driver's license. Must maintain any required licensure(s), certification(s), or other credentials for the length of employment in this job classification. Employing agency is responsible for ensuring employee possess and maintains required licensure(s), certification (s) or other credentials.
