Lead impactful climate initiatives as a Manager focused on sustainability. Oversee projects that deliver on the city's climate action commitments and ensure equitable energy solutions across the community.

In this managerial role, you will steer the implementation of strategic climate action plans, including the Community Energy and Emissions Plan 2050. You will collaborate closely with various divisions to reduce carbon footprints and promote climate resilience while addressing energy poverty. Your responsibilities will involve supervising a passionate team while participating in regional sustainability initiatives as a key representative.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct climate action operations and strategic planning

• Implement innovative energy efficiency and generation initiatives

• Monitor progress of climate action and GHG commitments

• Develop strategies to combat energy poverty

• Lead community workshops and consultations on climate action

Requirements:

• University degree in sustainability or related field

• 5-10 years in senior sustainability roles

• Strong knowledge of GHG emissions and climate policies

• Proven management experience in a unionized setting

• Advanced data analysis and report presentation skills
