The Opportunity

As we continue our supply chain transformation, we require a Transformation Lead to lead change projects and embed a culture of continuous improvement, contribute to the organisation’s strategic vision of a more efficient, resilient, and environmentally responsible supply chain

Other Responsibilities Will Include
• Developing and executing initiatives, leveraging data-driven insights, technology, and industry best practices to optimise procurement, logistics, inventory management, and supplier relationships
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, finance, and compliance, to streamline supply chain processes, reduce waste, and improve service delivery
• Identifying and implementing processes, fostering innovation, and ensuring alignment with the organisation’s sustainability goals
• Identifying and measuring opportunities for cost savings through process efficiencies, supplier negotiation and waste reduction (meaning reduction of wasted time, labour, material usage, etc.)
• Measuring, monitoring and reporting on procurement spend, operational costs, inventory levels and OTIF
• Collaborating with the business to facilitate the development and documentation of a prioritised list of business improvement initiatives

About You

You enjoy influencing change and are driven by continuous improvement. A capable communicator, you thrive in a collaborative working environment and feel comfortable negotiating positive outcomes.

Furthermore, you will also possess.
• A proven track record of leading large-scale transformation projects such as process optimisation, and the ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams through complex change initiatives
• Solid experience in implementing continuous improvement methodologies, with a strong understanding of inventory management, supply negotiations and contract management
• Extensive experience in supply chain management, logistics and procurement, ideally in waste management, recycling or a similar operational environment
• Experience in developing business cases for investments and cost-saving initiatives with a well-developed business acumen
• A Tertiary qualification in either Business, Commerce, Engineering, Logistics or a related field
