Job Description

APA Group is seeking a Trainee Program Coordinator for a 2-year fixed term traineeship in Brisbane. The role involves coordinating training programs, supporting apprentices, and assisting with administrative tasks. Candidates should have an interest in Learning & Development and possess strong organizational skills. This position requires on-site presence, including regular site visits, and is not remote.

This is an exciting opportunity within our Learning and Development team for a person seeking a career pathway into an office administration position. This is a 2-year fixed term Traineeship, will involve undertaking a Certificate 3 or 4 in Business Administration and will be located in our Brisbane CBD office with regular site days at Eagle Farm and other regional sites when required.

About The Team

At APA, our Operations Learning and Development team is responsible for the coordination of technical and compliance training, whilst also managing our Apprenticeship, Traineeship & Work Experience Programs nationally.

Main activities
• Coordinate enrolments, and provide ongoing support to Apprentices, Trainees and Work Experience students throughout the Program
• Process invoice payments and track expenditures
• Support the concepts, design and delivery of marketing content for school engagement activities and trade shows
• Assist with maintenance of the training database and responding to training and assessment queries
• Regular on-site support for training sessions as required

• Interest in a career within Learning & Development
• Ability to learn computer literacy and systems
• Strong interpersonal and organisation skills
• Commitment and availability to our 2-year Full Time Traineeship
• Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
• Based in Brisbane with reliable transport
