Reporting to Manager and Management Representative, the Trainee Environmental Specialist will be responsible for preparation and carrying out of baseline environmental studies.

The successful candidate will have an
• Experience in preparing, analyzing and reporting on environmental studies.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

As an Trainee Environmental Specialist at IPSS, you will be responsible for
• Carrying out baseline environmental studies.
• Preparation of baseline environmental studies report.
• Preparation of Application Form-1 & 1A.
• Preparation Environmental Impact Assessment & Environmental Management Plan Report.
• Preparation of TOR/Environmental Clearance/Forest Clearance/Public hearing presentations.
• Preparation of CTE/CTO Applications.
• Preparation of compliance reports.
• Ensuring quality assurance in the delivery of projects for Management and clients.
• Responsible for managing all financial aspects of projects assigned from purchasing of goods and services, formulating fee proposals, tracking budgets and dealing with difficult issues as they arise such as resource problem.
• Assessing ways of improving project management Practises in the Organisation.
• Responsible for Field Investigation and Site visits for primary baseline data collection for EIA reports.
• Preparation of techno commercial proposals.
• Preparation of tender documents.
• Responsible for coordinating the Client meetings to understand the requirements of the environmental monitoring, testing and environmental studies as per MOEF.
• Any other task assigned by the Reporting Person.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Experience:
• B.Sc or M.Sc in Environmental Sciences or Bachelors Degree in Engineering (Environmental or Civil).
• Freshers and People of one year of worth of experience working in a related role.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word etc.)
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
