Traffic Coordinator - Part Time

Green Lines Transportation is hiring a part-time Traffic Coordinator in Northbrook, IL. Responsibilities include managing logistics operations, assigning truck docks, staging loads, and completing necessary paperwork. The role requires strong communication and customer service skills, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office and logistics systems. Work hours are Monday to Thursday from 1 PM to 6 PM and Friday from 12 PM to 5 PM, with a pay range of $25.00 - $28.00 per hour.
Essential duties and responsibilities:

Review customer shipping orders and help manage logistics operations to assure shipping needs are met and BOLs are accurate and complete

Assign trucks docks for loading and keep accurate time in and out logs for each truck

Work closely with customers personnel in the plant to stage loads for the next business day

Enter new loads onto BOL’s and verify what machines the material is being produced on so material can be monitored for ready status.

Complete required paperwork (i.e. scan tags, create shipper BOL, have driver sign the correct copy) and file accordingly

Part Time Hours: Monday - Thursday: 1PM to 6PM, Friday: 12PM to 5PM.
