The Opportunity - Trade and Distribution Lead
This position works out of our UAE office in the Established Pharmaceutical division.

What You'll Do
• Accountability for Abbott EPD Private accounts business in terms of overall country financial goal achievement, accounts targets and achievements, forecasting accuracy, supply, stock availability, expiry minimization, etc.
• Lead and supervise UAE PVT key account managers.
• Accountability for developing and submitting a monthly performance report to the General Manager with traffic lights on key performance gaps and opportunities for both sellin and sellout status in key accounts and the overall country.
• Key player in country budget submissions through partnering with Cross functional Team and GM.
• Accountability for developing and executing internal country governance between the KAM team and sales teams, aiming to reach fluent communication, highlighting business opportunities and gaps, and aiming to achieve the overall country financial goal.
• Accountability for developing and executing external governance with Abbott UAE distributors, with clear meeting agendas, premeeting preparation, and postmeeting followup. Also, Abbott's point of contact with distributors in daytoday activities is in alignment with the GEM & Levant head of distribution.
• Accountability for proposing and executing all country trade agreements in alignment with the GEM trade manager.
• Develop trade marketing strategies for the products to identify key chain drugstores and other accounts aligned with the brand strategy.
• Work with the trade team to ensure the execution of trade marketing programs for identified key accounts.
• Create a sustainable relationship with identified accounts by creating trade programs that benefit both the company and the account.
• Prepare regular reports for senior management, highlighting key financial metrics, opportunities, and challenges.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant legal, financial, and regulatory requirements.

• Accountability on Abbott EPD Private sector size of business 35%
• Lead and supervise UAE PVT Key account managers 30%
• Accountability on developing and executing internal country governance between the KAM team and sales teams aiming to reach fluent communication highlighting business opportunities and gaps aiming to reach the overall country financial goal 15%
• Accountability for developing and executing external governance with Abbott UAE distributors with clear meeting agendas, premeeting preparation, and post meetings followup, as well as being Abbott's point of contact with distributors in daytoday activities in alignment with the GEM head of distribution 15%
• Accountability for proposing and executing all country trade agreements in alignment with the GEM trade manager 5%
Required Qualifications
• Any Graduate with 78 years of total relevant experience in managing Trade and Distributors in pharmaceutical/ healthcare or FMCG segment.
• Minimum 23 years experience in managing a team.
• Strong experience in managing and growing Pharmacy chains/retails and distributors in UAE.
• Experience in Primary care/OTC/OTX.
