Job Description
The State of Hawai'i is hiring a Tractor Operator (BC-04) for the Department of Defense, located in Halawa to Kalihi. The role involves operating and maintaining rubber-wheeled tractors with attachments, performing manual tasks, and meeting specific qualifications including experience with motorized equipment and a valid driver’s license. Operates and maintains a rubber-wheeled tractor with cutting or plowing attachments; may perform manual work tasks; and perform other related duties as assigned.To qualify, you must meet all of the following requirements:
LEGAL AUTHORIZATION TO WORK: The State of Hawaii Requires all persons seeking employment with the government of the State shall be citizens, nationals, or permanent resident aliens of the United States, or eligible under federal law for unrestricted employment in the United States.
Experience: One (1) year of work experience involving the operation of motorized equipment, or any equivalent combination of training and experience.
Driver's License: Some positions require possession of a valid driver's license at the time of appointment. The immediate vacancy has this requirement.
Special Requirement / Lift and Carry: Some positions require the ability to lift and carry items of various weights with or without reasonable accommodation. The immediate vacancy has this requirement.
