Responsibilities
• Conduct surveys on freshwater impoundments and rivers.

• Analyze and interpret survey data.

• Implement applied fisheries management activities.

• Plan and conduct management-related research.

• Write technical reports and scientific publications on significant results and findings.

• Organize and conduct public outreach programs.

• Assist in directing a team of technicians, seasonal workers, interns, and volunteers.

• Support the Project Leader in administrative duties, including purchasing, activity reporting, and budget planning.
Requirements
• Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree in Fisheries Science, Aquatic Ecology, Natural Resources Conservation, Biology, or closely related field.

• For NRS II: Two years relevant experience.

• For NRS III: Six years relevant experience.
,
• For NRS IV: Ten years relevant experience.

• Must possess or be able to obtain a valid class 'C' Texas driver's license within 30 days of employment.
