Job Description

Energy Transfer is seeking a Terminal Operator Trainee in Catoosa, OK. The role involves learning to assist in manufacturing products, managing quality control, tracking raw materials, and ensuring adherence to safety policies. Essential duties include visual gauging, maintenance tasks, loading/unloading trucks and railcars, performing inspections, and basic math for inventory reporting. Candidates should have a high school diploma and be able to communicate effectively.
Sunoco LP is a leading energy infrastructure and fuel distribution master limited partnership operating across 47 U.S. states, Puerto Rico, Europe, and Mexico. The Partnership's midstream operations include an extensive network of approximately 9,500 miles of pipeline and over 100 terminals. This critical infrastructure complements the Partnership's fuel distribution operations, which serve approximately 10,000 convenience stores, independent dealers, commercial customers, and distributors.

Summary:

Responsible for learning the skills necessary to assist or lead with manufacturing of neat or modified products via PMA, daily quality control activities associated with production, tracking and maintaining raw material inventories, meeting shipment and delivery schedules, receipt handling via truck, rail and barge, following the facility housekeeping objectives, ensuring assets are properly maintained, and Sunoco HES policies are understood and followed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The essential job duties for this position are listed below:
• §Assists and performs visual tank gauging to verify automatic systems

§Performs housekeeping throughout plant

§Assists and performs maintenance tasks (rail, pumps, motors, mixers, valves, etc.)

§Loads and unloads trucks

§Apply steam and unloading lines to rail cars for heating and offloading

§Unloads railcars

§Assists and performs paperwork involving basic math skills for product movements and inventory reporting

§Trains carriers on truck loading and off-loading systems

§Assists and performs rail movements with use of Track-Mobile

§Performs calculations for product movements

§Assists and performs PMA (Polymer Modified Asphalt) production

§Assists and performs inspections

§Assists and develops JSA for PTW writing

Required Education:
• High school diploma or GED

Minimum Requirements:
• Effectively communicate with peers and management of various levels
• Self-starter able work with little or no supervision
• Ability to use hand and power tools, shovels, rakes, operate a forklift, skid loader and manlift
• Able to use basic hand tools and operate basic product testing equipment
• Proficient in mathematics and able to perform all required calculations
• Proficient computer, reading and writing skills
• Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and written
• Must be willing and able to work as a part of team, take direction from supervisor(s), prioritize work schedules, focus attention to details, and follow work rules

• Frequent exposure to heat, cold, and other adverse weather conditions
• Work in and around industrial and construction settings, which may include hazardous products, processes, materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment
• Frequent heavy lifting with and without assistance
• Work on and around equipment and facilities that require knowledge of and adherence to safe work procedures and practices
• Subject to call-outs to respond to operational issues and emergencies after working hours, at night, and on weekends and holidays
• Reliable attendance at work
