Technician III

Ultra Clean Technology is hiring a Technician III in Singapore. Responsibilities include assembling machines, conducting tests, troubleshooting, and maintaining cleanroom protocols. Candidates should have at least 1 year of experience in manufacturing or engineering, be able to read technical drawings, and work in a cleanroom environment. A relevant diploma or certification is required. The position is full-time with specific working hours and physical demands.
UCT is looking for a talented Technician III to join us in Singapore!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Assemble electronic and mechanical parts to build machines based on required specifications, drawings and work instruction.
• Conduct functional and leak test, identify errors and conduct rework if required.
• Report and assist engineers in problem solving and troubleshooting.
• Required to understand the cleanroom protocol and practice the 5S Concept for cleanroom.
• Perform housekeeping and comply with manufacturing discipline.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Minimum 1 year experience in manufacturing/aerospace/engineering industry
• Able to comprehend electrical / mechanical drawings
• Able to work in cleanroom environment; wearing jumpsuits, safety helmet and safety shoes
• Willing to commit to the shift pattern and OT if required

Educational/Certification Requirement:
• NITEC / Higher NITEC/ Professional Certificate or its equivalent
• Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics /Mechatronics/Engineering

Physical Demands and Working Conditions:

Work Environment: Clean room

Work Hours : 08:30am – 05:30pm / 08:30pm – 05:30am

Physical Demands : able to carry some weight (up to 20kg) – due to need to push the machines or carry the material parts to the station

Environmental Exposure: Capital equipment manufacturing with sophisticate system integration & testing

Overnight Travel: No
