Job Description: Our ethanol plant is seeking a highly mechanical, detail-oriented professional to provide technical support to plant staff and oversee a variety of projects. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys structure, solving problems, and working hands-on in an industrial environment.

The person in this role will assist with technical process support across the plant, help evaluate and coordinate projects from the early stages, and work closely with plant personnel to improve operations and troubleshoot issues as they arise. This is not strictly a desk job — the right candidate must be willing to spend time in the plant and get hands-on when needed.

Key Responsibilities
• Provide technical support to plant staff across various plant processes.
• Assist with troubleshooting operational and mechanical issues.
• Evaluate projects in the early stages and help support project development.
• Oversee and coordinate various plant projects.
• Work with plant personnel to identify process improvements and practical solutions.
• Support implementation of projects and operational changes as needed.
• Maintain a high level of attention to detail in evaluating systems, processes, and project work.
• Operate effectively within a structured, team-oriented plant environment.

Qualifications
• Strong mechanical aptitude required.
• Engineering degree preferred, but not required.
• Experience in ethanol production, industrial operations, manufacturing, maintenance, or a related field is helpful.
• Detail-oriented and organized, with an appreciation for structure and process.
• Able to communicate effectively with plant staff and management.
• Willingness to work in a hands-on role and assist directly in the plant when needed.
• Ability to evaluate problems, think practically, and follow projects through to completion.
• Must reside in Lincoln County, Nebraska.
