Job Summary and Description:

Key Responsibilities:
• Project Coordination: Lead and coordinate a consortium of stakeholders, including manufacturers, installation companies, and recyclers, to address their needs and concerns while ensuring timely delivery of project deliverables.
• Research and Analysis: Conduct complex technical searches and analyze information to support the project team. Develop innovative technical solutions to complex problems requiring creative and imaginative thinking.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate strategies and results to program members, potential members, and external stakeholders through reports, meetings, webcasts, workshops, and conferences.
• Event Coordination: Organize and coordinate events and webinars to disseminate project findings and engage with the broader community.
• Technical Leadership: Apply technical expertise across related disciplines to develop solutions and provide guidance to junior staff. Ensure technical and financial milestones are met.
• Reporting and Presentation: Prepare and present detailed research reports to the European Commission and other stakeholders. Ensure clear and effective communication of project progress and outcomes.
• Interdepartmental Collaboration: Facilitate communication and collaboration across EPRI programs to ensure parallel work is informed and aligned.
• Proposal Development: Support proposal efforts and new promotional work to develop research or service opportunities that align with EPRI’s mission and capabilities.

Additional Requirements:
• Public Funding Experience: Experience in identifying and securing public funding opportunities, and coordinating award packages. Specially HORIZON projects.
• Independent Work: Operate independently on technical activities without direct supervision.
• Relationship Building: Develop and maintain relationships with primary advisors and stakeholders in the research area.
• Project Management: Manage small to medium-sized projects, including budgets and resources, ensuring completion on schedule and within budget.
• Technical Networks: Interface with national and international technical networks, including manufacturers, consultants, academia, and research organizations.
• Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff, fostering their development and growth.
• PV Industry Knowledge: Some knowledge of the photovoltaic (PV) or solar industry and related technologies (wind, gas, etc…).

Technical Skills Required:
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook for email communication and calendar management.
• Experience with SharePoint for document management and collaboration.
• Familiarity with Box for secure file sharing and storage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to develop innovative solutions.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.

Education and Experience:
• Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field or equivalent experience required.
• Proven experience in project management and technical leadership within the renewable energy sector.
