Join Coastal Ecology Group, LLC as a Senior Environmental Scientist and contribute to the success of our team in Asheville, NC. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing environmental site assessments, subsurface investigations, environmental permitting, and multi-media sampling projects.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in environmental consulting services, with experience in multimedia sampling, waste characterization, stormwater management, spill prevention, permitting, due diligence, and other related areas. You will also be expected to prepare technical reports, review and interpret data, and execute and oversee editing and release of technical materials.

This role requires excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and the ability to produce accurate, professional, and error-free documents in a timely manner. A valid U.S. driver's license is also required.
• Bachelor's degree in Geology, Engineering, Environmental Science or equivalent experience
• 10+ years of previous professional experience in engineering, geology or the environmental sciences
• Excellent technical report writing skills
• Strong business development background
