Job Summary:

We are looking for a Sustainable Transport Planner to support the development of practical, eco-friendly transport solutions within Dubai. This role will focus on planning and implementing sustainable mobility initiatives at a project level, working closely with local authorities, developers, and stakeholders to enhance accessibility, reduce emissions, and integrate green transport solutions into urban development. The successful candidate will contribute to the planning of pedestrian-friendly streets, public transport improvements, and sustainable infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement transport strategies that support sustainable mobility, including pedestrian, cycling, and public transport initiatives.
• Work with urban planners, developers, and government agencies to incorporate sustainable transport elements into new and existing projects.
• Conduct transport and environmental impact assessments to identify opportunities for improving mobility and reducing carbon emissions.
• Support the planning and design of transport infrastructure such as cycling lanes, pedestrian pathways, and public transit enhancements.
• Advise on new technologies in mobility, including electric vehicles, shared transport, and alternative fuels.
• Monitor trends and policy developments in sustainable transport, ensuring alignment with local regulations and best practices.
• Engage with stakeholders and communities to promote awareness and encourage the adoption of sustainable transport options.
• Prepare reports, feasibility studies, and recommendations for senior management and external partners.

Qualifications & Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Transport Planning, Urban Planning, Environmental Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• At least 2 years of experience in transport planning, urban mobility, or sustainability projects.
• Knowledge of transport assessment methodologies, GIS tools, and sustainability principles in urban planning.
• Experience working with local government, urban developers, or infrastructure projects in Dubai or the UAE is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to work independently and collaborate in multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic is an advantage).
