Key Responsibilities

As the Sustainable Procurement Lead, you will be responsible for:
• Developing and implementing sustainable procurement strategies and initiatives
• Collaborating with stakeholders to achieve sustainability goals
• Providing guidance and support to internal partners on sustainable procurement practices
• Staying up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in sustainable procurement

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:
• A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Commerce, Finance or a related discipline
• A minimum of five (5) years diversified procurement, contract management and/or supply chain management experience
• Experience managing and working with various interested parties (internal/external)

Work Environment

This position may be eligible for a hybrid work arrangement with the flexibility to work from both home and the worksite as per the Letter of Understanding between the City of Edmonton and Civic Service Union 52.
