About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced R&D Packaging Engineer to join our team at Nordic Naturals. As a key member of our packaging team, you will be responsible for developing and optimizing packaging solutions that meet our high standards of quality, sustainability, and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities:
• Packaging Development & Optimization: Develop and optimize packaging solutions that ensure product integrity, stability, and regulatory compliance.
• Material Selection & Compatibility: Evaluate and select packaging materials that are compatible with dietary supplements and prevent degradation, moisture ingress, or other stability issues.
• Technology Transfer & Scale-Up: Support the transition of new packaging concepts from front-end innovation to full-scale production, ensuring seamless implementation and efficiency.
Qualifications:
• BS in Food Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or related field
• 8 years of experience in formula and/or process development or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office and Excel
