Renewable Energy Project Development Lead

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our renewable energy project development efforts, focusing on utility-scale initiatives that incorporate energy storage solutions. As part of our team at ThinkBAC Consulting, you will contribute to the execution and operation of dynamic utility-scale energy storage projects.
About the Role:
• Liaise with land-owners to identify and research potential land opportunities for utility-scale renewable energy and energy storage projects.
• Collaborate on site acquisition, financing, and development of utility-scale energy storage and renewable energy projects, including responding to RFPs.
• Negotiate site control agreements with landowners for utility-scale renewable and energy storage projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead project development activities for both new and ongoing utility-scale renewable and energy storage projects in our portfolio.
• Develop and implement tax abatement, permitting, and environmental compliance strategies.
• Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including landowners, developers, and community members.
Requirements:
• 3-5+ years of experience in utility-scale renewable energy, energy storage, and real estate transactions.
• Familiarity with the RFP/RFI process and project siting, permitting, prospecting, and due diligence initiatives.
• Strong leadership skills and ability to work in a fast-paced team-oriented environment.
• Hands-on experience with site prospecting, land negotiations, and project financing initiatives.
