About the Role:
The Sustainable Futures Leader will be responsible for developing and implementing sustainability initiatives, leading project activities, and collaborating with colleagues across departments. This role requires strong leadership skills, experience in partnership development, and the ability to influence policy and plans.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement sustainability initiatives
• Lead project activities related to sustainability
• Collaborate with colleagues in Conservation, Government Relations, and Communications teams
• Communicate effectively via written, spoken, and graphical means
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 7 years' experience in conservation practice or related field
- Experience managing complex projects, including finances and coordinating with professionals and partners
- Supervisory experience and ability to motivate, lead, and manage performance
- Ability to develop practical applications of scientific concepts and technical innovations for conservation purposes
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
