Responsibilities:
As a Reforestation Specialist at Sierra Pacific Industries, your primary responsibilities will include:

Implementing and managing reforestation programs to ensure the effective establishment and maintenance of conifer plantations;

Preparing and administering contracts for reforestation activities, including tree planting, vegetation management, site preparation, and thinning;

Inspecting and monitoring reforestation projects to evaluate their performance and provide recommendations for improvement;

Maintaining accurate documentation and records of reforestation activities;

Collaborating with other forestry teams to achieve district goals and objectives;

Providing expert advice and guidance on forestry best practices and sustainability principles;

Staying up-to-date with industry developments and implementing new techniques and technologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
