About the Role
This role plays a pivotal part in comprehensive forest management, overseeing planning, permitting, timber harvest, road construction, silviculture, client reporting, and budgeting. The successful candidate will also handle additional duties assigned by the Area and Region Manager. To be successful in this role, the candidate must have a Bachelor's Degree in Forestry preferred or related field or Associate's Degree in Forestry with 2+ years of experience, Registered Forester License in Alabama, exceptional written and verbal communication skills, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, proficiency in Microsoft Office tools like Word and Excel, soft skills including communication, teamwork, problem-solving, adaptability, attention to detail, time management, and decision-making, and a valid Driver's License with safe vehicle operation skills.
