About the Position: We are seeking a Sustainable Energy Development Engineer to join our team in Washington, D.C. or Golden, CO. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE) to support project management activities, including funding opportunity announcements, project management, and technical support for competitively selected grants and cooperative agreements.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for HFTO-funded projects, including project management, performance monitoring, documentation, and progress assessment.
- Collaborate with HFTO stakeholders to develop and implement strategies to address needs and gaps in the Federal government.
- Support the development and coordination of competitive solicitations and merit reviews.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field (project management, sustainable energy, earth science, energy management, or other related discipline).
- 5+ years' experience in a related field, preferably in the area of sustainable energy development.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
