Connecticut Innovations is hiring a Sustainable Electrochemistry Researcher in New Haven, CT. We are seeking a skilled Sustainable Electrochemistry Researcher to join our team at Connecticut Innovations.

Oxylus Energy, a leader in climatetech, is developing cutting-edge CO2 electrolysis technology for the direct production of green methanol. This innovative solution has the potential to reduce energy requirements and enable onsite fuel production and carbon conversion.

The Sustainable Electrochemistry Researcher will be responsible for testing the performance of membrane electrode assemblies (MEAs) under various conditions, providing diagnostic analysis for failure mechanisms, and collaborating with other team members to scale-up the electrolyzer cell.

This role requires expertise in electrochemical tests, materials characterization, and data analysis. The ideal candidate will have a Ph.D. in chemical engineering, materials science, or mechanical engineering or relevant industry experience.
