Sustainable Development Project Manager

CanACRE Ltd. is seeking a Sustainable Development Project Manager to support environmental compliance and risk management for large-scale energy projects. We provide land acquisition, geospatial mapping, data management, web-based GIS, community relations, land feasibility studies, and permitting services for large-scale wind and solar power projects, high-voltage transmission lines, pipeline projects, municipal roads projects, and groupings of cellular towers and rooftop antennas.

Our Environmental Team Lead role involves providing on- and off-site support for Project & Construction Management to proactively identify and reduce environmental risks. This includes reviewing environmental compliance requirements, implementing environmental protection or mitigation plans, and identifying major or unforeseen environmental issues.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have knowledge of endangered species and habitats, as well as storm and water pollution prevention. You will also require experience managing large-scale energy projects and a Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science, Natural Resources, Biology, Wildlife, or a related field.
