Job Description
CannonDesign is seeking a Sustainable Design Student Intern in Boston, MA. The intern will join a sustainability team, collecting project data, researching materials, producing graphics, and attending project meetings. Candidates should be enrolled in a relevant degree program and possess strong design skills, with experience in REVIT or Rhino preferred. ABOUT THE ROLE
You will be a member of our multi-disciplinary sustainability team, collaborating with design and technical leadership as an integral part of project teams across the firm.
HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL DO
• Collect and assemble project performance data on ongoing and completed projects.
• Research materials, systems, and approaches to improve the health and wellness of our projects.
• Produce graphics to convey sustainable design strategies in the built environment.
• Attend in-house project team meetings.
• May perform other duties as required.
HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED
• Must be enrolled in and working toward a Bachelor or Master's in Architecture, Engineering, Environmental Design or related program.
• Strong design portfolio, which includes examples of digital graphics related to architecture, engineering, or sustainable design required.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects is required..
• Experience with REVIT and / or Rhino preferred.
• Experience with environmental, energy, and life cycle analysis software preferred.
