Sustainable Design Professional

Wallace Roberts & Todd, LLC is seeking a Sustainable Design Professional in San Francisco, CA. Candidates should have a degree in landscape architecture or related fields, 2-5 years of experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency in Adobe CC and ArcGIS. A passion for ecological and social equity, as well as knowledge of climate science and ecosystem functions, is essential. This is a full-time position.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:
• An undergraduate and/or advanced degree in landscape architecture, city planning, and/or related environmental sciences.
• 2-5 years of relevant work experience.
• Strong and clear graphic, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Advanced technical and graphic software platforms, including Adobe CC and ArcGIS analysis tools.
• A general understanding of the latest climate science and familiarity with sea level rise planning and regulation (California and/or elsewhere) is a plus.
• A general understanding of ecosystem functions and threats, across geographies from coastal and estuarine environments to high country and the wildland/urban interface.
• A passion for helping local communities plan for a resilient, ecologically and socially equitable future.
• Familiarity with the intersection of social and ecological issues such as public health, equity, access to open space, and green infrastructure.
• A desire to contribute to a collaborative studio environment.
