Skills
• Strong background in building science, high-performance systems, and sustainable strategies
• Deep understanding of performance-based codes and innovative solutions
• Proficient in Revit; familiarity with Rhino, Ladybug, and Climate Studio
• Proven ability to build trust and manage client relationships
• Experience in strategic planning and driving change initiatives
• Strong collaboration skills across disciplines
• Skilled communicator, able to adapt solutions to varied client priorities

Responsibilities
• Guide clients and teams on high-performance, resilient design practices
• Ensure design quality with sustainability measures integrated at every stage
• Mentor sustainability and design teams, fostering the next generation of leaders
• Represent Gensler in public speaking and industry networks
• Lead workshops to deepen understanding of sustainability practices
• Track key performance metrics across all projects
• Build and expand Gensler’s climate action services and client relationships
• Coordinate with leadership on operational planning and resource management
• Contribute directly to project tasks as needed

Qualifications
• Master’s degree in sustainable building, architecture, engineering, or a related field
• LEED Accreditation required (additional certifications are a plus)
• Strong knowledge of LEED, WELL, Fitwel, and other green building certifications
• Experience conducting Life Cycle Assessments (LCA) with tools such as One Click LCA
• Strong relationship-building skills across teams
• Passionate about sustainability and eager to engage with diverse perspectives
• Self-starter able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

Education Requirements
• Master’s degree in sustainable building, architecture, engineering, or a related field

Education Requirements Credential Category
• Professional degree in architecture, engineering, or sustainability

Experience Requirements
• Proven track record in sustainable design and achieving building certifications
• Experience in client engagement and managing revenue targets
• Familiarity with sustainability practices and performance-based design
