We are seeking a highly skilled Sustainability Specialist - ESG Initiatives to join our team at BASF SE.

The successful candidate will be part of the Group Sustainability & Financial Reporting Officer Support Department, reporting directly to the relevant Manager. Key responsibilities include:

• Collaboration with ESG rating agencies: Developing and maintaining the Group's ESG profile to ensure transparency and accountability.">
• Supporting ESG activities: Integrating ESG factors into the Group's strategy to drive long-term value creation.">
• Data Collection and Disclosure: Environmental and sustainability disclosure in accordance with EU Regulation 2020/852 to maintain compliance and credibility.">
• TCDP Setup and Reporting: Preparing the consolidated non-financial statement to provide stakeholders with accurate and comprehensive information.">

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in economics or a related field to understand the intricacies of sustainability and financial reporting.">
• Prior experience in non-financial reporting activities within the chemicals sector or leading consulting firms (minimum 3 years) to demonstrate expertise and adaptability.">
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, to efficiently manage data and communicate findings.">
• Familiarity with key regulations in non-financial reporting to stay up-to-date on industry developments and best practices.">
• Fluent Italian (C1) and English (B2) language skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate with stakeholders.">
