Farm Credit Canada is seeking a Sustainability Specialist in Surrey, BC. Your Role

You will support efforts to build industry cohesion on environmental sustainability with external stakeholders, drive the implementation of our inaugural Climate and Nature Adaptation and Transition plan, and engage with customer-facing teams to apply a sustainability/ESG lens to high-profile deals.
Key Responsibilities
• Assess risks and opportunities related to business processes and projects, customer offerings, and key business decisions.
• Coach and mentor others to effectively manage performance and best practices.
• Provide recommendations and consultation on governance gaps.
• Maintain sustainability policies and disclosures.
• Research, develop, and implement key performance indicators to monitor our overall sustainability performance.

Requirements
• A bachelor's degree in business, commerce, administration, environmental engineering, or other relevant sustainability or ESG certifications and designations.
• At least four years of experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).
