Job Description
Nemak is seeking a Sustainability Specialist in Monterrey, Mexico, to implement the CSRD compliance roadmap, manage double materiality assessments, and ensure data quality for ESG reporting. Candidates should have a degree in Engineering or Environmental Science and experience in sustainability management and reporting standards. Sustainability Specialist
Objective
Responsible for the overall implementation strategy of the CSRD compliance roadmap including work packages such as DMA process, EU Taxonomy and data quality assurance.
Main Responsibilities
• CSRD Management: overall implementation strategy of the CSRD compliance roadmap including work packages such as DMA process, EU Taxonomy and data quality assurance, Gap assessment against ESRS standard, define action plan to mitigate risk of non-compliance, Assurance process management and liaise with assurance body.
• Double Materiality Assessment: develop, implement and maintain Nemak's double materiality assessment in line with CSRD requirements, prepare DMA results for assurance process.
• EU Taxonomy: Implementation of EU taxonomy requirements in collaboration with Finance, ensures audit compliance of process and results.
• Data Quality Management: Implements digital ESG reporting tool, improves data quality of all ESG data, preparation for external assurance process.
Position Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree Engineering, Environmental Science, Sustainability or related.
• Experience with Sustainability Management and Sustainability Reporting GHG Inventory, Reporting standards (CSRD, GRI, SASB, TCFD), ESG knowledge, Materiality assessments, ESG Ratings.
• Advanced English
