Job Description

GeoEngineers Inc is hiring a Sustainability Specialist in Portland, OR, responsible for developing environmental solutions, preparing various reports related to remediation projects, and managing data collection efforts. Candidates should have a Bachelor's in civil/environmental engineering, 5-10 years of experience in environmental consulting, and a PE license. About the Position:
The Sustainability Specialist at GeoEngineers Inc. is responsible for developing solutions to environmental and compliance problems by evaluating different and applicable technologies. This includes preparing remedial investigation work plans, sampling and analysis plans, data reports, remedial investigation/feasibility study (RI/FS) reports, cleanup action plans, and remedial action completion reports on environmental remediation projects involving multiple contaminated media including soil, sediment, groundwater, and vapor. The successful candidate will have a strong background in environmental consulting and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop solutions to environmental and compliance problems by evaluating different and applicable technologies.
- Prepare remedial investigation work plans, sampling and analysis plans, data reports, remedial investigation/feasibility study (RI/FS) reports, cleanup action plans, and remedial action completion reports on environmental remediation projects involving multiple contaminated media including soil, sediment, groundwater, and vapor.
- Evaluate and interpret field and laboratory data, perform engineering/scientific analysis, and develop solutions to complex problems.
- Plan, perform, and manage field explorations and environmental and compliance data collection efforts.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in civil/environmental engineering. Master's degree preferred.
- 5 to 10 years of environmental consulting or related professional experience.
- PE license required.
- Familiarity with environmental regulations, including Model Toxics Control Act (MTCA) Cleanup Regulations, Clean Water Act (CWA), and Sediment Management Standards (SMS), and how to apply them.
