Sustainability Specialist

Intellect Group is seeking a Graduate or Junior Sustainability Specialist in Greater Manchester to manage sustainability projects, develop carbon offsetting strategies, and track embodied carbon. Ideal candidates should have a proactive mindset and an interest in environmental science. This full-time position offers a salary of £28K–£38K a year and provides hands-on experience in sustainability efforts.

What You’ll Do:
• Manage Live Sustainability Projects: Oversee and support environmental policies that drive positive change.
• Carbon Offsetting Initiatives: Play a key role in developing and implementing strategies to reduce and offset carbon emissions.
• Embodied Carbon Tracking: Monitor, measure, and record embodied carbon across various projects, ensuring accurate data and innovative solutions.

What We’re Looking For:
• A recent graduate or someone starting their career in sustainability, environmental science, or a related field.
• A proactive mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to work on multiple exciting projects at once.
• Knowledge or interest in carbon accounting, offsetting, and environmental policies is a big plus!
