Job Description
<br>
We are seeking an experienced Environmental Compliance Project Manager to lead and oversee environmental compliance projects across multiple regulatory areas, including air, water, waste, and hazardous waste laws.
<br>
This role involves providing expert guidance to clients, managing projects from initiation to completion, and mentoring junior staff to enhance their technical and compliance skills.
<br>
The successful candidate will provide expert guidance to clients on federal, state, and local environmental regulations, ensuring compliance in areas such as air permitting, wastewater, stormwater, and hazardous waste management.
<br>
The manager will also lead and manage environmental compliance projects, ensuring timely completion, budget adherence, and regulatory compliance.
<br>
Mentoring and training junior staff, fostering professional growth and ensuring they effectively apply regulatory standards are key aspects of this role.
<br>
Apart from these responsibilities, the manager will develop and oversee project deliverables, keeping clients informed with regular updates and actionable compliance strategies.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree in environmental engineering or environmental science, along with over 8 years of experience in environmental compliance.

You must be proficient in drafting compliance reports, technical memos, and regulatory documentation.
<br>
Proven ability to manage teams and oversee complex environmental compliance projects is essential, as is experience with Connecticut state and federal environmental regulations.

Additional requirements include experience with wastewater permitting, industrial stormwater plan preparation, hazardous waste management support, and stormwater sampling & management.
