Join Our Team as a Sustainability Program Manager!

Cooley is excited to welcome a dedicated Sustainability Program Manager to our Social Impact & Sustainability department. In this vital role, you will lead initiatives that significantly reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions across our supply chain and enhance our overall environmental impact.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement data-driven sustainability strategies that align with our organizational objectives.Evaluate and enhance the sustainability performance of key suppliers.Create processes and governance frameworks to support long-term sustainability initiatives.Engage with employees through our internal sustainability champion network.Manage supplier sustainability criteria, scorecards, and evaluation frameworks.Work with procurement teams to integrate environmental, social, and governance (ESG) considerations into supplier management.Provide training and resources to suppliers to promote compliance and innovation.Assist in conducting life cycle assessments (LCAs) to identify opportunities for reducing emissions.Track, analyze, and report on greenhouse gas emissions (Scopes 1, 2, and 3), emphasizing supply chain emissions.Contribute to the firm's sustainability disclosures and reporting efforts.Collaborate with departments including Legal, Technology, and HR to embed sustainability in our operations.What You Bring:

At least 5 years of relevant experience in corporate or supply chain sustainability, or a combination of sustainability and data analysis.Senior candidates should have a minimum of 7 years of experience with at least 2 years in a management role.In-depth knowledge of GHG Protocol, carbon accounting, and strategies for reducing supply chain emissions.Experience leading supplier sustainability programs and driving ESG performance improvements.Familiarity with sustainability reporting frameworks (e.g., CDP, GRI, EcoVadis).Understanding of U.S. and international sustainability regulations.Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in sustainability, environmental science, supply chain management, or a related field.Competencies:

The expected annual pay range for this role is $115,000 - $170,000, influenced by geographic location and candidate experience.
