Sustainability & Product Lead

EnableSA (Pty) Ltd is seeking a Sustainability & Product Lead in Gqeberha, South Africa. The role involves providing technical expertise in agricultural product evaluation, managing partnerships, and leading sustainability initiatives. Candidates should have a postgraduate degree in biological science relevant to agriculture and 2-4 years of commercial experience. Proficiency in MS Office and a valid driver's license are required, along with a willingness to travel.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Join the Business Development Support team to provide high-level technical expertise in identifying and evaluating new agricultural products. The role balances commercial growth with sustainability goals, requiring a candidate who can facilitate complex communication between technical collaborators and regulatory bodies.

MAIN DUTIES

The candidate will be responsible for the following core activities:
• Partnership and Project Management: Building strong partnerships with new and existing collaborators through quick communications, technical information gathering, and comprehensive project management.
• Product Portfolio Development: Identifying, screening, and evaluating new third-party products to diversify or improve the company's agricultural portfolio while tracking market trends to support strategic decision-making.
• Regulatory and Sustainability Leadership: Assisting the regulatory manager with registration projects and taking the lead on sustainability activities, including reporting and driving internal engagement on corporate social responsibility goals.

REQUIREMENTS

The following qualifications and experience are required for this position:
• Education: Grade 12 and a Post graduate degree in biological science with relevance to agriculture or crop protection.
• Experience: 2-4 years of commercial experience in the fields of food safety, crop protection, or sustainability.
• Professional Registration: SACNASP registration will be required if not available at the time of appointment.
• General Skills: Proficiency in MS Office, a valid driver's license, and a willingness to travel.
