Job Description

Merit Medical Systems Inc is seeking a Global Sustainability Manager to enhance sustainable procurement practices. The role involves designing sustainable practices, collaborating with senior leaders, evaluating suppliers' sustainability performance, conducting audits, and reporting metrics. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree, experience in Supplier Sustainability Programs, knowledge of ISO regulations, and strong leadership and communication skills. This is a full-time position based in South Jordan, UT.
We are looking for an experienced professional to join our team as a Global Sustainability Manager at Merit Medical Systems Inc. In this role, you will be responsible for advancing socially and environmentally responsible purchasing practices while ensuring compliance with the company's policies and regulations.

Main Responsibilities
• Design and Implement Sustainable Practices: Assist in designing and implementing sustainable practices throughout Merit's global network.
• Collaborate with Senior Leaders: Build strong relationships with senior leaders across various departments to ensure alignment and engagement.
• Suppliers Selection and Evaluation: Assist in selecting, approving, and evaluating suppliers based on their sustainability performance.
• Social Responsibility: Conduct on-site supplier audits and evaluate supplier performance in accordance with the supplier code of conduct, human rights, and labor standards policy.
• Risk Updates: Present supplier performance metrics and risk updates to management as required.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Business Management or a related field and two years of work-related experience.
• Proven track record in Supplier Sustainability Programs, preferably across multiple organizations.
• Working knowledge of ISO regulations and requirements.
• Strong leadership and influencing skills at all levels within the organization.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent data analysis and reporting skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
