Responsibilities
• Support the community through waste reduction education and outreach programs.

• Communicate initiatives through various channels targeting commercial businesses, food waste producers, residents, schools, and new developments.

• Answer questions regarding waste stream best practices.

• Give classroom presentations to various education levels from elementary to college.

• Lead and coordinate site tours for Ukiah Waste Solutions.

• Meet contractual obligations with the local community and state requirements.

• Conduct outreach activities independently in the field.

Requirements
• Demonstrated knowledge and passion for local recycling and waste reduction resources.

• Experience with event planning and implementation.

• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint), Adobe Acrobat, and Adobe Photoshop.
