The Role: As a Sustainability Manager, you will play a key role in the Sustainable Operations team in the APAC region. You will support in a varied capacity, depending on what project and client support is required at the time. Projects will vary from supporting new client onboarding, to ensure smooth transition into JLL Sustainable Operations, within the wider JLL client business. Other responsibilities will include support on existing client real estate portfolios, aligned with JLL service delivery requirements. Examples include, but aren’t limited to leading sustainability initiatives, environmental data capture and reporting, and data analysis. You will be responsible for analysing data, conducting research, and providing recommendations to drive sustainable practices across various aspects of the business. Responsibilities of the Sustainability Manager include: * Data management - collect, analyse, and interpret data related to energy consumption, water usage, waste management, greenhouse gas emissions, and other sustainability metrics. * Analysis - reviewing and refining technical aspects of sustainability data and initiatives relating to energy, waste, water and environmental management to drive improvements across the portfolio. * Stakeholder engagement - present sustainability performance metrics to key stakeholders. * Reporting – produce regular (monthly, quarterly, annual) sustainability performance reports or compilation of service plans and workflows as required. * Problem solving - identify sustainability and process improvement opportunities and work with key stakeholder to proactively address issues. * Communications – prepare communications and actively engage with Facility Managers and other key stakeholders to understand and reduce environmental impacts. * Project management - Identifying opportunities for environmental improvement, prepare business cases and work with the Project and Facility Management teams to deliver client approved projects. * Research - conduct research and analysis on sustainability best practices, industry trends, and technological advancements. * Team – active team member and contribute to the broader JLL and Sustainability team goals. This is what we are looking for: You will have relevant tertiary education and/or prior property sustainability work experience; skills derived in related consulting, technical delivery or client relationship management roles would be highly beneficial Ideally you will have experience working with large organisation in developing and delivering sustainability initiatives. You have excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills and a strong ability to engage with a range of stakeholders and listen effectively and communicate through action and example. You are committed to positively contributing to a high performing team and can prioritise and meet deadlines, working across a wide range of concurrent varied tasks.
