Job Description

At KPMG, we offer a broad spectrum of sustainability services, including but not limited to Climate Change and Decarbonization, Sustainability Reporting, Integrated Reporting, ESG Risk & Opportunity Analysis, Sustainability Strategy and Implementation, KPMG True Value, Circular Economy, Sustainable Finance, and ESG Due Diligence. As a manager, you will be responsible for leading various client engagements and business pursuits.

Requirements

Ideal candidates for this position will have:
• At least 6 years of experience in sustainability, either in a corporate environment or consultancy.
• A Bachelor’s degree from a reputable university in fields such as engineering, environmental science, international relations, business administration, or other related areas. A Master’s degree in a relevant field from an accredited university is preferred.
• Ability to collaborate with internal teams to incorporate sustainability practices into business operations.
• Stay updated on regulatory changes and ensure compliance with environmental and sustainability regulations.
• Comprehensive knowledge and expertise across various sustainability disciplines.
• Experience managing projects of varying sizes and complexities.
• Specialist knowledge in a specific sustainability area, with a focus on continuous professional development.
• Proven ability to manage teams, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Strong team-building skills to maintain motivated and effective teams.
• Analytical thinking, with the ability to translate strategies and concepts into practical actions.
• A solid understanding of the tools and technologies relevant to ESG.
• Strong communication skills, including report writing and presenting in both Turkish and English.
• Ability to engage with industry actors and stakeholders effectively.
• Contribution to proposals and business development, with an eventual shift into a leadership role.
• High energy, drive, and enthusiasm.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, is essential.
• Represent the company at sustainability-related events, conferences, and partnerships.
