Sustainability Manager

JD Ross Energy is seeking a Sustainability Manager in Canberra, ACT, Australia. This role involves leading ESG program delivery for a major project, developing policies, and managing sustainability initiatives. Candidates should have 8-10 years of experience in sustainability and qualifications in a related field. The position is hybrid, offering flexibility and a salary of £100K per year.
A leading company in the property space is looking for an experienced sustainability manager. This person will be integral in the successful delivery and deployment of ESG programs for a major project they have recently won.

You will be key contributor to the team and to the development of ESG services including the delivery of policies and frameworks, reporting, resource efficiency, green leasing, and NABERS programs.

Responsibilities will sit across leadership, delivery & business development:
• Net Zero roadmap delivery and planning experience.
• Build and foster a network of internal client and industry stakeholders.
• Mentor younger engineers.
• Manage and deliver sustainability programs from conception to roll-out.
• Maintain relationships with multiple stakeholders.

Requirements:
• Qualifications in sustainability, engineering, environmental science or related discipline.
• Demonstrated experience with ESG program development and delivery of associated plans.
• 8-10 years in sustainability.
• Experience in built environment and real estate sustainability (desirable).
• Canberra based role.
