We are seeking a Climate Action Business Development Manager to join our team. This role involves strategic planning, client relationship management, and business strategy development, offering significant opportunities for growth and professional development. The successful candidate will be involved in managing client relationships, developing and executing a client outreach and engagement strategy, and assuming responsibility for revenue growth associated with TT's Climate Action services.

Focus Areas
The focus of this position is on Thornton Tomasetti's Climate Action initiative, which addresses the threat of climate change through decarbonization and resilience strategies. You will engage directly with target clients, including owners, operators, and developers of facilities with high reliability and maintainability requirements (e.g., data centers, hospitals, educational campuses). Given the current growth of AI applications, we intend to focus our efforts on datacenters and other facilities supporting AI growth (e.g., chip manufacturing).

Responsibilities
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of TT's Climate Action initiative and its objectives.
• Conduct market research, identify dominant trends, and develop strategic pursuits.
• Develop and execute a client outreach and engagement strategy, ensuring awareness of TT's capabilities and services supporting energy goals.
• Manage and/or support the development of competitive proposals.
• Actively manage client relationships and projects executed by TT, including identifying and engaging with key personnel across practices and geographies.

Requirements
• Possess a passion for energy transition and resilience.
• 7+ years of working experience; preferred experience with datacenters, their developers, and/or owners.
• Experience developing and managing client relationships and complex projects.
• A university degree (engineering or architecture preferred but not required).
