Job Description
KLA Corporation seeks a Sustainability Engineering Program Manager to establish a Center of Excellence for Design for Sustainability. Responsibilities include managing energy audits, optimizing energy usage, collaborating with teams on sustainable practices, and developing initiatives to reduce environmental impact. Candidates should have a relevant degree and experience in sustainability engineering. Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills are essential. This position is located in the United States.

Job Description/Preferred Qualifications Establish Center of Excellence for Design for Sustainability within KLA’s Global Product Group organization Manage comprehensive energy audits and assessments on KLA products and sub systems Build database of best practices/design as well as component selection guide for improving the energy efficiency of KLA’s subsystems and overall Ensure designs and product installations comply with efficiency standards Analyze energy consumption data across various product families Optimize energy usage in KLA Product and Sub-systems under various conditions and settings Perform energy audits. Use findings to suggest upgrades and retrofits Analyze energy consumption data across various product families Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate sustainable practices into product design, manufacturing, and operations. Work with Engineering and Program Managers to establish Energy Efficiency targets for new product development in correlation with meetings KLA’s published SBTi targets When working with product groups on new product development, recognize opportunities for reduction of GHG and proliferate those opportunities to other new KLA products where applicable. Develop and implement sustainability initiatives and projects to reduce environmental impact of KLA product Monitor and report on sustainability metrics and progress towards goals. Research and stay updated on sustainability trends, technologies, and regulations that may impact KLA product development in the future Provide technical support and guidance on sustainability-related issues. Prepare and present sustainability reports to stakeholders. Minimum Qualifications Doctorate (Academic) Degree and related work experience of 3 years; Master's Level Degree and related work experience of 6 years; Bachelor's Level Degree and related work experience of 8 years Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Sustainability, or a related field. Proven experience in sustainability engineering or a similar role. Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and sustainability practices. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Strong communication and presentation skills. Proficiency in sustainability software and tools.
