Responsibilities
• Collects Green House Gas (GHG) emission and flaring gas data from equipment inventories and Continuous Emission Monitoring Systems (CEMS) through various sources and tools
• Understands reporting requirement and prepares the reports accordingly, like Environmental Performance Indicators (EPI), periodic Green House Gas (GHG) stewardships, and flaring reports
• Perform quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) checks to ensure data accuracy
• Prepare accurate emissions reports in compliance with US Environmental Protect Agency (US EPA) standards and submit emissions data to the EPA
• Measures key performance indicators of environmental data such as GHG, flaring, CEMS, etc.
• Interact and collaborate with internal and external (BU) teams to collect emission data, resolve data providers queries, perform necessary analysis and data checks
• Initiate tickets with concerned team to resolve technical issues related to data management infrastructure (database, data analytics, servers, etc.)
• Prepare comprehensive documentation for internal training purposes
Work Experience
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering/Technology/Science in Environmental/Civil/Mechanical or a related field
• At least 3 years of experience in emissions monitoring/reporting, sustainability strategy, regulatory compliance, Environmental Data Management Systems (EDMS), etc.
• Familiarity with EPA guidelines and emission factors
• Passion to work in sustainability space
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
